Soon to be Homeless

Hey everyone, my name is Christina Ellison and Christopher and Charlene are my 2 children. As embarrassing and shameful as this is for me, I have no other choice. We are at risk of being on the streets within less than a week. We just moved into a house September 1st 2022 and the landlord turned out to be a complete scam artist and burned us out of a 4500 deposit. The heating system is completely done which he refuses to fix, we haven't been able to use the bathroom upstairs since we moved in, and we also found out that he's not licensed to rent since 2020 and now he's trying to put us outbox the street because we called L&I on him. I've been working 3 and sometime 4 jobs just to keep up with bills and making this place somewhat habitable for my children and I. My son is a juvenile diabetic which the landlord is also aware of. Because we are in the heating season, L&I has deemed the home not habitable because there is no heat. We only have less than a wk before we're on the streets. I have no way of coming up with that kind of money in such a short period of time. I don't have any family to stay with and I asked the kids father to take them for 2 wks so they're not in the streets with me. He said he can't do it because he doesn't want to "mess things up with his landlord" because the kids aren't on his lease. If anyone knows me, I have never been able to ask for help and if this wasn't going to affect my children. I'm humbly asking if there is anything you can donate to help no matter how big or it is greatly appreciated.i just can't bare then thought of my children sleeping in a car, a shelter, or on the streets and still having to make it to school everyday as if everything is normal.
