In May 2019, our mom, Annette Merchant, was diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer in Dominica. Honestly, we are still in shock by the diagnosis.
We are afraid we won't be able to afford the treatment that can save her life.
The next step? Chemotherapy and radiation therapy. To get this treatment, Annette must get medical care at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire in Guadeloupe. Thankfully, her cancer is at a curable stage. But, the cost of the combined chemotherapy and radiation therapy is an astronomical $142,000 USD. Annette’s treatment can only begin after we pay the medical expenses upfront.
Please help us get to our first milestone of $50,000 so that Annette can begin chemotherapy. The faster we start treatment, the faster we get rid of this cancer.
