93 Year Old Louisiana Flood Victim
Donation protected
Lousiana is recovering from the worst natural disaster since Hurricane Sandy and the floods are said to have been worse than Hurriane Katrina. Thank God my 93 year old grandmother who has severe dementia, Sara Smith, Aunt Brenda Innerarity and Uncle Barry Innerarity are safe, but have lost nearly everything they own.... Every piece of furniture, every appliance, my grandmother's wheel chair, her hospital bed, most of their clothes. Think of everything in your home, from floor to ceiling, everything including the walls need to be replaced. And because their area has never flooded, they don't have flood insurance. Thankfully they are able to stay with a family friend that was not affected. But bc of my grandmother's condition she needs to sleep in a bed with rails so she doesn't fall out... To improvise and keep her safe while she sleeps, she's sleeping in a lawn chair with arms and extra padding to make it comfortable.
All funds raised will go to this family to help get my aging grandmother back in her home as soon as she can, to rebuild and replace what they lost. Please help by donating whatever you can, share with all your email contacts and on social media.
