Restoring the Station
During the past several years the new Middleton Railway Museum Society has been building a strong group of volunteers focused on restoring the Middleton Railway Station to represent as close as possible the original station setup.
As part of this restoration attention is being given to making a visit to the station an interactive experience for all ages.
There is a wonderful collection of railroad equipment that is being displayed along with description of how each item was integral to daily operations of the railroad.

Operational model railroad displays depicting the area through out the central part of the Valley are being developed for all to enjoy during a visit to the station.
As many will know, the Middleton Railway Museum Society is taking possession of an actual steam locomotive with tender and some rolling stock that will be arriving for outdoor display at the station before the end of the year.
We must thank CN Rail for building new infrastructure for for the train, Communities, Culture and Heritage for helping fund the locomotive's move, and the Annapolis Valley Trails Coalition for making space for us.Middleton Railway Museum Board Chair Dianne Hankinson LeGard with CN crews
The Middleton Railway Museum Society would like you to become a part of the exciting things happening at the Middleton Railway Station.
We need volunteers who can help restore the building both externally and internally, work on the display setups, and help maintain the grounds among other projects still in the planning stages.
Immediate attention must be paid to making the old building a warm and safe place for volunteers to work, and for our many future visitors as this fascinating piece of local history and heritage becomes a regional destination.

So we need your help. Roof repairs, insulation, upgraded electrical, and the addition of heat pumps are on our current list.
The Middleton Railway Museum Society needs funding to bring this wonderful station back to its original look as it was as a working station.
Please support our Go Fund Me drive if possible.
To permit planned projects to move forward in a timely manner the financial need is $25,000 by January 15, 2021.
Thanks for helping,
