Reyes Family Support

With broken hearts we share that on September 11th, two Santa Rosa Academy students, Anthony and Reyna Reyes, tragically lost their beloved father Mr. Anthony Reyes. He also leaves behind his loving wife Stephanie Reyes and their adult daughter Marissa Reyes (Santa Rosa Academy class of 2021).

Anthony is a Senior at SRA and a talented athlete on the wrestling team. His gentlemen like politeness and warm smile have garnered him many friends and supporters at school. He has plans to serve his country by joining the United States Navy after high school. Earlier this year Anthony completed a school activity in which he was asked to choose a person that was his greatest inspiration. It could have been a major music artist, a historical figure or famous athlete- but Anthony chose his dad who has always been his greatest supporter, his best friend, and inspiration.

Reyna is a 10th grader who excels in Math and Science. Reyna enjoys spending time with her friends and listening to music. She is a talented artist and hopes to have a future in the field. She also shares the Reyes characteristics of politeness and kindness which were undoubtedly modeled and taught to the children by their mother and father.

The Santa Rosa Academy Community has set up this page to raise support for Anthony and Reyna to help with their future plans and cover costs that the family may struggle with as a result of the loss of their father. Anthony Sr, was a devoted father, husband and positive member of his community. He worked as a power plant operator for many years and was the sole provider for his family. In the midst of this tragedy the family was also in the middle of transitioning to a new home and will need support.
