Help My Family Survive In Gaza

My name is Abraar. I live in Canada . My heart bleeds for those suffering in Gaza. As the atrocities unfold in Gaza and its surrounding areas, it is impossible not to feel helpless. No doubt you have seen pictures of children with blown limbs and burned skin. I have seen the anguish in every mother's eyes. I saw despair in the father's faces as they discovered another body from under the rubble. You probably wanted to help but maybe didn't know how

Recently, I connected with a man in desperate need of help. Ahmed from Gaza works as a lawyer and had an independent house. He got married four months before the war began, and now his wife is in her final month of pregnancy. The following months turned into the worst nightmare a parent could think of. This is war. It led to their displacement to the south due to the complete destruction of Gaza City, and then they were displaced to many locations to find safety. Ultimately, they were forced to move to Deir al-Balah. If/when the ground attack begins they will likely not survive.
