Let's Bring Ashley Home

Hi, My name is Glenda Childress and I am raising funds for Ashley Childress' medical flight back to the United States and to help support her long time care.
Ashley is my brother's daughter. I'm starting this on behalf of her parents because they are in Japan with Ashley and this needs established in the US. The following is a message from Ashley's mother, Linda Childress.
"My daughter and her husband Wes Dickens moved to Japan 3 years ago where he began work as a civilian counselor for the Marine Corp in Iwakini.
On July 16 our daughter Ashley was in a near fatal car accident in Japan. She was airlifted to the trauma hospital in Hiroshima where she is fighting for her life. She suffered 2 broken arms, wrists, crushed femur, compound fracture in her left leg, crushed ribs, punctured lung and worst a traumatic brain injury. She has not regained consciousness though I feel she knows we are here.
We are working hard to get her back to the states where we can be with her every day. She will need to be medically air evacuated while still on the ventilator. We need all the help we can possibly get to pay for these mounting medical bills and other expenses. Of course once home she will have a long recovery. First we need to get her home soon.
Her father and I only have two more weeks with her in Japan and need to get as much done as possible. In that time I pray she takes a turn for the better and opens her beautiful blue eyes."
