Help Ashley with medical and living expenses

Hello my name is Cindy and her father and I started this page to try to help our daughter through this difficult time. The story started with her having severe stomach pains. She toughed it out a few days thinking she had food poisoning . She finally had to go to the ER because the pain was too intense. They did a CT scan thinking it was her gallbladder or appendix. The scan came back clear and they told her to go home drink clear fluids and it will likely go away. The next day the pain intensified and she returned to the ER. They did an ultrasound and again said all clear. Continue with clear fluids and gave her a Dr’s name to go have an endoscope / colonoscopy . They took her right in and scheduled the appt for the next day. Fast forward the end of the procedure. She woke up in extreme pain and bleeding. She was told to go straight to the ER. Once there a series of tests were run only to find out her appendix had ruptured and her colon had been perforated. She was admitted and was in the hospital for 8 days. A drain had to be installed to her side to drain fluid from her abdomen. It is today still there and possible for a couple weeks. When the colonoscopy biopsy came back it was mixed news. Pre cancerous cells were found. We are so grateful for the “pre” part but the cancer word is devastating to hear.

She still has two more procedures to go through to get to her healthy state. And your personal bills don’t wait. She has been unable to work during this time. The medical bills will be huge.
