95 year old mom needs money to replace her roof

My name is Jennifer Bailey. I take care of My 95 year old mother and my disabled brother. They have always lived together. Kevin had a brain tumor removed when he was 10 years old. When they removed the tumor they also had to remove some good stuff too.

Mom has always taken care of Kevin. She was a hard working Mom with 6 children. She lost her 8 year old daughter following open heart surgery. Five years later she lost her oldest son when he was killed in Viet Nam.

In 2004 dad died. She should have been all set. Mom & Kevin both have Dementia. This caused Mom to not make good financial decisions. The banks couldn't notify any of us as we weren't on her accounts. She handled everything.

When it became apparent that she needed help we discovered her money was gone and she was in debt. I have had that part taken care of. However she needs her roof replaced and doesn't have the money. The lowest bid is $28,000 for the full roof to be replaced. I asked them to bid on the portion of the roof where it is leaking. That bid is $18,000.

As hard as this is to ask, we need help. Mom & Kevin want to stay in their home together. If we don't get this done by winter, they will be removed from the home.
