Send Elton to Australia!
Donation protected
Elton Naswood, educator, consultant and contemporary leadership voice of HIV/AIDS issues and advocacy in the Native community, has received a scholarship to attend the 2014 International Indigenous HIV/AIDS Conference in Sydney, Australia this July! This is an AWESOME opportunity for him to learn, exchange ideas and network with other indigenous experts around the world, and bring back the knowledge to share with "all our relatives." This international dialogue is essential to the ongoing progress of understanding indigenous people's unique role in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
There are expenses, such as the $2500 airfare, not covered by the scholarship, and the exchange rate favors the Aussie dollar right now. A leadership member for the Indigenous International Working Group on HIV/AIDS, NO ONE could better represent our Native American people in the international conversation on HIV/AIDS. So let's gather our coins and chip in - and help send Elton to the wonderful land of OZ!
