Christmas Angels

In our community, a single parent, who has created a loving home for their family, despite many challenges, has lost their primary source of income.  While for us, the pandemic has been an annoyance, for this family it has simply been devastating. 

Imagine the challenges, anxiety, and fear of living through the pandemic and being further impacted by the loss of a job, at no fault of your own.  Yet, the fridge still needs to be filled for your growing children, the bills and mortgage still need to be paid.  Sadly, this reality for that single-parent family. 

Sadly, the lack of financial resources makes Christmas, and all of its expectations, more stressful than joyful.

Consider contributing an amount equal to the tank of gas you didn’t need from avoided commutes; the cost of that golf game you couldn’t play; the trip to the hairstylist you couldn’t make (a little gray is sexy right?), or that restaurant dinner out you couldn’t have.

To be respectful, the recipient family will remain anonymous, as will we.   There is great joy in giving!
