DEVASTATING FIRE - TOTAL LOSS

Donation protected
I wanted to share this story with you, as Andrea and David have helped so many people through the years. It really is time to pay it forward to them. I would love for everyone to join me in helping these special people who never hesitate to do whatever they can to help those in need. Although they would never ask, It's their time and they need our help.

Recently good friends of ours, Andrea and David Masker suffered a devastating loss of their new food truck Sub Street. They had just barely got started for the year, when on June 17th an Uber driver ran into their food truck. Information was exchanged. Not being mechanics, and thinking the damage was minimal from what they saw, The Maskers went on to their event for that day. After the event, as they were heading home, the food truck caught on fire. It was totaled.
Insurance will not cover the truck as the fire was hours after the accident.

The Maskers are the former owners of the Snow Castle, a shaved ice food trailer as well as a brick-and-mortar shop of the same name. They owned Snow Castle from 2019 - 2022. They found their passion in that shaved ice food trailer. They truly enjoyed traveling to different locations and meeting all the new friends. And it worked for them. David is quiet and made the orders. Andrea, as we all know, was the star of the business. Andrea has never met a stranger. In 2022, they were ready for something new and were blessed when they received an offer for the Snow Castle that they could not refuse.

The food truck life is not easy, it's a lot of work, and it takes a certain type of personality to make it successful. The Maskers have that winning formula. During their down time, they were constantly thinking of what their new business could be.
They worked through a lot of different options. They wanted an idea that would be different and a new concept in the food truck arena.

They came up with Sub Street. And so, the process began. They experimented with different sandwiches. Had tasting events for friends and family. Listened to the suggestions and a menu was created.

They were also scouting for the food truck. They found one and purchased it. They started the process of making it their own. This truck was designed to meet their needs and was what they envisioned for Sub Street.

The truck was finally completed. And they started 2023 late to the food truck arena, but they went in and did their best to start getting the Sub Street name out there. Their calendar was filling slowly at first, as this was an unknown food truck. Word of mouth had their calendar filling up more.

And then came June 17th.

No amount is too small to donate.

Please share, so we can get their story out there.
