Help David Fight Brain Tumor!

Hi, my name is Doina and I'm fundraising for my grandsons David to fight a brain tumor.

David is my grandson, my youngest daughter oldest son which is only 14 years of age.

David is a student in 8 grade, with multiple distinctions, a brilliant student, intelligent and hardworking.

David is a very enthusiastic, kind and very respectful child with big plans for the future as most children of his age are.

Past September David went to a very complex, brain surgery being diagnosed with a brain stem tumor affecting hypothalamus (glioma).

After the 12 hours surgery, as a side effect he's now suffering of hemiparesis and hemianopsia omonima on his left side.

Unfortunately due to the place where the tumor is located doctors couldn't remove it entirely therefore a big part of it is still there.

For this reason in January David must undergo a 2nd surgery in an attempt to remove another part of the tumor which will increase David's chances to win the fight.

As part of postoperative rehabilitation David went and is still going through an extensive occupational therapy, physio, kinetotherapy, neurologist and oncology.

Despite he's troubled condition, David is still eager to study and through his strong will is planning to finish 8th grade by taking supplementary tuition at home to alow him to sit his final exams.

This fight unfortunately is not cheap, we've used all our family savings and we reached the bottom of our founds in this fight which is very costly.

I'm appealing to you kind souls to allow and help David recover and get through these hard times.
