Legal fees to fight complicated USCIS case

Hi everyone, as most of you know. I have been fighting a draining immigration case for quite some time now. In the recent year, the attorney attached to my case has been very unprofessional (doesn’t return emails, makes mistakes in my petitions which comes with denials after denials. On top it all It is nearly impossible for me to ever get an answer from him and when I do get to his assistant, I get the run around with zero progress.

In the waiting of my work permit application, I ended up getting a job with a company which waited 2 weeks for me to get my EAD only for said EAD to be denied because of neglect from my attorney. I have already looked for every possible way to find the money but my options are limited to none
 
After a lot of pondering and sorrow. I have made the sound decision that my best choice is to change my attorney which comes at a fee of $5500. Due to the fact that I am not the one who is paying my current attorney and the family member who is paying doesn’t want to cover the fees of me changing my lawyer and has already helped more than enough and due to the short notice of time, I have no way of coming up with this much money so fast.
