Gary Miner-Memorial Service & Family Financial Aid

Donation protected
Gary William Miner born September 30, 1955, unexpectedly died on January 12, 2022

Gary was husband to Sharon (Skelton) Miner, father to Nicholas and Ashley Miner. Grandfather to Nicholas’ and Angie’s children - Amina and Emmanuel. Loved and cared for Taryn Keating and her son, Anthony Frederick as a father figure. Gary was a brother to his 7 siblings, uncle to their children, great uncle to his nieces’ and nephews’ children. He was a friend to so many!

My dad, Gary, was a genuine man and selfless man. All those that knew him knows he would stop on a dime to help in any way possible; whether that was to give the shirt off his back, share life experience to offer advice, and would do anything to help solve any/all problems one would face.

My dad, was also a very prideful man, a man’s man until the end. Which is why he most likely found it so hard to ask and accept help when he went through hard times.

My dad, was a roofer for most of his life up until 2003 when he was severely injured causing him to no longer work. But that did not stop him from helping a neighbor, friend, or family member with any project(s).

He loved restoring wood, camping and most of all he loved being around family and friends.

On behalf of my family, I am seeking help during this hellish and painful time. As my father did not have life insurance.

We, the Miner Family, would be forever grateful for any donations that would be used towards the following:
1. Having a memorial service to honor the life of a honorable man who spent the majority of his time helping so many. And to allow all those that he loved to come and say goodbye - along with the ability to be with all of his loved ones to share stories of his life.
***The memorial will be held in the summer months, spending time in the sunshine as Gary, my father, loved so much. Which will also allow social distancing for those that are concerned with the ongoing issue with COVID-19
2. We would like to have him Rest In Peace with each of his parents. We would like to have a portion of his ashes with a memorial plaque at White Chapel Cemetery to be with his mother. Another portion to be taken up north to be buried with his father’s ashes with a matching plaque to go beside his father’s.
3. Unfortunately, due to some of his hard times substantial debt incurred, and now has been put on his beloved wife’s shoulder to bare.

We know these are tough times for everyone, but are asking for help so we are able to take care of not only the memorial cost related items, but to help ensure that aid is there for the family to pay off the substantial debts left behind.

Any help whatsoever would be eternally appreciated.

We, as his family and loved ones, are just in utter shock that this has happened. We will of course keep him close in our hearts.
