WE’RE BUILDING A SOLAR SYSTEM!!
SILAS Education is building a scale model of the Solar System right here in the Mid-Columbia. Centered on the Solar Arches as a 40’ diameter sculpture representing the sun at The Reach Museum, we’re ready now to put the rest of the planets in place.
Through a great partnership with the City of Richland, we’ve developed a marker to enhance the river walk showing the orbital distances from the Solar Arches at scale. A local artist will be building and installing these all along our waterfront.
Go to http://silaseducation.org/HRSS/ for more information and to see a map of all the planets!
