Battle Breast Cancer with Amanda

Breast Cancer is not only the most prevalent form of cancer among women, it is the most prevalent form of cancer in the world. Every 14 seconds, somewhere in the world, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, research and treatment has come a long way.

It’s important to have a treatment plan in place immediately after diagnosis. Although it’s available, it’s also very expensive. There are costs associated with the treatment that aren’t covered, such as fuel for traveling to the hospital. In Amanda’s case, the hospital is 90 minutes away. There will probably be days that she spends long hours at the hospital and will have to buy food from the cafeteria. She will need her very loving, and supportive husband there with her, or her sweet, and very concerned daughter. So, income will be lost as well. Some of the medications she needs cost a lot of money. It’s a very stressful time for the whole family without having to worry about where the funds for these things will come from, and these are just a few examples.

If anyone deserves the help to soften the blow of being diagnosed with this toxic, monster of and illness, Amanda does. She has generously devoted her time to providing a wealth of information and support to everyone in and out of her Facebook group. She is very present in the group, responsive to the 100’s of messages she receives frequently, and has even provided video calls to help in person whenever needed. She is the most selfless individual I’ve ever known. I’m sure many of us have never had the blessing of someone with such patience and knowledge, willing to share whatever, and whenever she can.

It’s a blessing to be part of a group with such a leader. The willingness of the members to gather together to support a website, when her YT channel was removed, is testament to Amanda’s integrity. Now more than ever, that same willingness is to support is an absolute must.
