Hi, my name is Cheri Baker, and I'm raising money for the medical procedures, surgery, physical therapy, and follow-up doctor appointments. My medical needs have really put a financial burden on my family, because I'm not able to work. I filed for Social Security Disability back in Feb 2022. They're only 35% of the way through my application process. It can take up to 254 more days before it's complete. I know I will qualify for it, but the waiting game is hard. Especially without having the extra income coming in. My health has been declining for a few years now. I'm not one to ask for help. I have always been able to work and be able to take care of what I need. It has really been hard on me coming to terms with not being able to do what I used to. Im only 46 yrs old. I will be 47 this year. I have chronic pain throughout my whole body. My pain management doctor is working with me to get my pain level at a 4 on a 1 to 10 pain scale. Most day's my pain is at a 6 to 8. Worst being 10. I have severe Asthma & Allergies, Fibromyalgia, Generalized Anxiety, Cervical Radiculopathy, Cervical Disc Displacement at C6-C7 Level, Spondylitis, Cervical Region Sacroilitis, Trochanteric Buritus of Left and Right Hip, Left hip Myalgia, 4th Stage Osteoarthritis Left Knee, Golfers & Tenis Elbow ,on both sides, Tendonitis in both, and hands, Plantar Fasciitis in both feet, and Arthritis throughout my body. The CT Scan I had done this past Thursday shows that I have Cervical Radiculopathy. Now The next step is to get an EMG now on my Right Upper Extremity. This test will help my doctor assess the function of the nerves and muscles. My right arm and hand will go numb and I drop thing's. I never know when it's going to happen. I have burnt myself cooking. It can be very scary. I also have a Sacral Nerve Stimulator in my lower back. I have to charge it once a week. For things to work properly. I just found out yesterday at my Uro-Gyn that my mesh sling surgery back on Dec didn't work. Now my doctor is sending me to get a Urodynamics Test for my bladder, and then the next step would be another surgery ( Retropubic Sling).
