Emergency Funds Needed

Hello to you all, I’m in need of emergency funds to move back to Austin Texas. I have been living in a mold and mildew infested apartment and have gotten very sick due to my living conditions. 

 On March 17, 2022, my 59th birthday, I drove myself to the eye doctor to find that my eyes are bleeding due to infection caused by the mold that has infested my walls, carpet and floors, clothes, furniture and my way of living.

 During my visit with the doctor I past out twice and was transported to a emergency hospital by ambulance. In very bad condition blood at that time 178/110. Heart rate below 30’s, placed on oxygen. My sister was then call to come to Kenner Louisiana in fear I may not make it …. My T4 level was then negative 14, all my organs begin failing. 

My sister was here within a 16 hr time frame to find my blood pressure at 234/117 and me transitioning out. 

 But God!!!!

 My sister began to pray and stroke my head softly while my body was jerking and shaking, she said… and I looked up and saw her, I began thanking her for being here. She came to my rescue. I was released in her care after my hospital stay for 2 weeks. I then came home after that two weeks to discover more mold and mildew because I was not there to continuously clean and spraying bleach (inhaling bleach day in and out) and now add lava worms covering my walls and in my carpet. 

 I have been displaced since I’ve been back here in Louisiana (1 month so far), Ive been fortunate to stay with a nice family for a few weeks, not being able to help out with food or anything for helping me is hurtful. I am grateful!!

 While off work for three weeks I was not getting paid because I don’t have the time in; I’ve only been here in Louisiana working for 10 months so no funds has come my way in three weeks. No check until April 29th and it is already spent (some will understand. My bills have never stopped; just the funds to pay the bills stop). 

 My old job has called and I would like to move back home to Texas with family and friends. 

 Funds needed 5,000.00 for the move:

 U-Haul Truck and tow…..       $900.00 

Movers Louisiana and Texas. $700.00 

Travel Gas…………                      $300.00 

New place with app/deposit 1st months rent…….                                      $2000.00 

Move-in cost (insurance etc…). $500.00 Food.                                              $300.00

 I’m embarrassed to say was living in my car some nights and now I’m with my new found friend/mother because my funds has now been depleted.

 Never thought I would say this, but I’m homeless (unable to live in my apartment, but yet paying rent) and have nearly lost everything furniture, clothes, and many personal items (including some personal items and memorabilia) 59, alone and starting over.
