Support Sarah's Fight Against A Brain Tumor

Oh hello. I’m Sarah! I am 31 years old and I have a brain tumor! How fun is this! (I jest)

Due to this, I have lost my right visual field in both eyes as well as the middle in my left eye. What does that even mean? I can’t see much and what I can see is only out of the left side of my right eye. I can’t read with my left eye. Everything else is extremely grey and blurry. So as you can imagine, it has been very difficult. This started around the middle of July and I have seen a million doctors since then and I’ve been able to work one day since.

My insurance is okay but I’ve capped out on a few things, especially MRIs. They need a lot of pictures of my brain and only 2 of them have been covered fully.

I am starting this GoFundMe because I need help! And I feel so much deep-rooted shame in asking for help financially but I’ve been poked and prodded and am currently sitting in a hospital bed with nothing to lose. Even just a penny will be appreciated and will cover both medical bills and travel expenses down to Miami.

I am hopeful this will be treated and my vision will return and I’ll be able to go back to enjoying all the things in my life, seeing my loved ones' whole entire face (instead of just one side), being able to drive, read a book, go to a job that I love, and be able to put this whole thing behind me.
