Help a Family Rebuild After Devastating Fire

I am reaching out with a heartfelt request for support for a family that has recently endured a catastrophic loss. They tragically lost their home and everything they owned in a devastating fire and they are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The family is in urgent need of assistance and you may be able to help by donating items, money or any known resources that might be able to help. They need clothes, food, household items, and any other support during the tragic time. I have included some clothes sizes for the family. 3T girls clothes, size 8 shoe, 5T boys clothes, size 10 shoe, size 5 diapers. Ladies XL shirts, size 13 bottoms, mens 2 X shirts, size 42 bottoms. In addition to the family members they also have furbabies that have been affected by the fire, 3 dogs and 1 cat. Any donations of pet supplies, pet food would be greatly appreciated.

March 3, 2025: **MCFR Battles Umatilla Mobile Home Fire**

At 9:57pm, MCFR units were dispatched to reports of a mobile home fire in the 16900 block of SE 252nd Ave, Umatilla. Multiple 911 callers reported the mobile home fire with heavy smoke and flames showing.

MCFR South Forest Station #6 arrived at 10:07pm to find the mobile home fully involved. Crews immediately deployed hose lines to attack the fire from a defensive posture. Additional firefighters from Weirsdale Station #27, Villages Station #10, Belleview Station #18 and Lynne Station #4 arrived on scene to assist.

The primary and secondary searches were completed, the occupants had self-evacuated from the mobile home and other buildings. The fire was called under control at 11:07pm. No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported on scene. The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
