Support a Family in Need of Housing moving costs

Hello friends and family. I am absolutely embarrassed and ashamed to even make this post, but my family has run into some really tough times lately. I am never one to ask for help, and I pride myself on being extremely independent. I am at a complete loss at what to do now, so here I am.

I don't talk much about my personal life publicly, but here's a little bit of an overview... about a year ago, I gained complete full custody of my children with absolutely no financial help from their father. My car got wrecked and I had to use my tax return to purchase another vehicle. I took on a pretty good job with the state which was only a temporary position with hopes of it turning into full time work. Well then the state decided to go into a hiring freeze right before my contract with the state ended. So I was out a good job, with no future state positions avaliable and 3 teenagers to feed and a grandbaby to help raise. To top it off, a few months ago, I took on an additional 3 mouths to feed. I have been living off unemployment and a few delivery gigs to help get by until I am able to secure another position with the state.

Due to the hard times I've had the last few months, I have gotten into a bind and I am needing to move my kids and I into a different home. The only issue with that right now is the move-in costs. We need first month's rent and a deposit, and unfortunately, right now, I don't have either. We have found a place to move into, and we have a pending application on it. As soon as we come up with the money to move, we will be moving.

I understand times are really tough for everyone right now and I appreciate any and all the help we can get. I am so very sorry to have to make this post. When I can get back on my feet financially, I will most definitely pay it forward! Thank you for taking the time
