Fire Relief

Friday Dec. 11th my family was forced from our home due to an apartment fire. The building next to us was where the fire originated and unfortunately the extreme heat of the blaze caused our building to suffer fire damage as well. The damage to our building only affected the right side of the building and unfortunately that is the side my apartment was on. Two of the rooms in my apartment were affected and the apartment also suffered smoke damage and slight water damage. 

Currently myself and my mother are staying with family as we wait for the HOA to make a determination regarding the habitability of the apartments affected in my building. At this time it means that I am displaced until a decision is made. Preliminary assessments have suggested that  we will have to find a new place and as such will need all the help that we can possibly get to make that happen.

Sadly, this is the second time that my family has been displaced by fire and having to go through this again has been a very traumatic experience. It is both a frightening and humbling experience to be forced to restart your home life for a second time. Any help during this difficult time is greatly appreciate.
