Orion’s Prosthetic Leg

Hey everyone, here is a story from my lil brother please read
Hi my name is Orion, I’m now 12 years old. In December of 2022 I was having trouble walking without pain in my knee and leg. In January of 2023 I was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in my right tibia. I was admitted to doernbechers in Portland OR where I went through many weeks of chemotherapy and a limb salvage surgery. I followed this up with many weeks of physical therapy. This has been a long and rough road for myself and my family. I live full time with my mom and part time with my dad. My mom had to go through our house and update flooring and rearrange things so I was able to get around in my wheelchair and walker safely. My dad had a ramp put at his house to help also. My uncle was able to build me a ramp out of wood so I can get in and out of the house and my mom works in the dalles and commutes 5 days a week on top of taking me to appointments and therapy. We were blessed to have a wonderful community that was able to raise money to help us out. But unfortunately the money can only go so far before it's gone. My mom had to get a used car because due to extremely high miles, the car was just getting tired. But this one too is getting alot of miles racked up on it with work and now more appointments. During a routine scan they found that I not only had spots on my lungs but a large tumor has now presented on my upper leg right below my knee where the first tumor was removed at and unfortunately it has gotten into my Bloodstream as well. We are once again doing chemo but this time its a over 5 day stay in the hospital. So one of my parents has to take time off work to stay with me. The doctors told my parents and I that my leg unfortunately will have to be amputated due to the large tumor. my Surgery is August 8,2024. Due to the circumstances my mom is taking a leave from work too care for me full time, she applied for the Paid leave Oregon but has not received any confirmation from them saying if she will get paid while she is off. Due to finances I need to get a prosthetic Leg and it may cost more then they can afford so they are humbling asking for help in this time of need. We would also appreciate all the prayers and good vibes be sent my way as well. Thank you for reading my story and God Bless
