ٱلْحَمْدُ للهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Respected brothers & sisters.

Allah SWT says in Surah Al-Hadid:

إِنَّ ٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَـٰتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا يُضَـٰعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ

Indeed, those men and women who give in charity and lend to Allah a good loan will have it multiplied for them, and they will have an honourable reward.

(Quran 57:18)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”

(Sahih al-Bukhari 450, Sahih Muslim 533)

We, the Clongriffin Community Centre, are fundraising for a new mosque in the Dublin 13, area (Ireland). This limited company was set up by local brothers living in the area with the aim of finding a suitable place for worship.

The Muslim community here is significant in number, comprising of hundreds of families. Currently, we have no mosque locally to cater for the essential spiritual and communal needs of these families. A private residence is being used for daily prayers, and a hotel or sports hall for Friday, Tarawih and Eid prayers.

Alhamdulillah, we have been successful through auction in acquiring a five-bedroom house on a large 1-acre site. It is easily accessible with the huge advantage of being located in an isolated area in Dublin 13 offering privacy and ample parking space for a large congregation, thereby minimising any possible disturbance to other local residents.

This property offers a fantastic opportunity and is the only available solution currently to our community’s desperate need for a mosque. This potential mosque can serve not only as a praying area, but for all other vital religious and communal activities such as Quran classes for adults, madrasah for children, religious talks, youth centre, education centre for new Muslims, da’wah centre and many others.

We appeal to all Muslims and any concerned individuals to help us purchase this high potential property for a vital mosque to serve the community in the Dublin 13 and greater Dublin North area.

To complete the project we need to submit 575000 Euros in next 4 weeks to get the land. Additional we need 425000 Euros for legal costs, stamp duty, solicitor fee, Surveyor fee, Valuation fee, refurbishment costs(as the property was abandoned) and repairs and maintenance.
