Like many of us, Jen MacNabb is a hard working mom. You know the kind - she works a full time job, is busy raising a teenage son and chasing 3 rambunctious Whippets that she simply adores!
Jen's son, Matthew, attended Bay Meadows Elementary for all six years of elementary school. During this time she spent countless hours volunteering in PTA and working diligently to better the school and elementary experience for hundreds of children. She loved the school so much that she started substitute teaching for several years. Her love for teaching grew and she took on a permanent role at Bay Meadows as a kindergarten teacher in 2012.
Unfortunately, this beloved teacher was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. As a result of this illness and the treatments associated with it, she is unable to work and provide for her family. She desperately misses her school family and the little faces she is used to seeing every day. With her immune system comprised, she can't even pop in for a visit!
As you can imagine, this isn’t just taking a toll physically and emotionally, but financially as well. Jen, her son and those not-so-furry fur babies need us!
