Suicide Prevention & Mental Health Awareness
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Gabriele, and I am raising money for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. September is suicide prevention month. I've struggled with depression and anxiety for the longest time. It took me a year or two to admit that I needed to go back to therapy and when I did, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
No one knows what could be possibly going on in one's head. Depression is a real thing and it hurts/affects so many people. No one should be pushed past that point or to the point of hurting themselves or committing suicide. There is hope for everyone. It's okay to not be okay. Everyone has a purpose in this life no matter who they are. You're alive for a reason. A person can only be pushed so far. It's their job and others to help themselves. Depression and anxiety is a real thing that goes on in someone's day-to-day life. I lost someone incredibly close to me due to suicide and I pray to God every day that no one has to feel that way.
Check in on people and see how they are. Little compliments and conversations go a long way.
Live your life to the fullest.
Donations will be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and a nonprofit organization called the JED Foundation.
