Help Save Our Sweet Dog’s Life ❤️

Our Story
This past Saturday, my family and I adopted a beautiful 1.5-year-old dog from a high-kill shelter, trying to save a dog at risk. She truly is incredibly sweet (the sweetest I've ever had) and we quickly became very attached to each other.
When we brought her home, she was dirty, unspayed, had recently had puppies, and was dealing with fleas and a double ear infection. The shelter vet also diagnosed her with kennel cough and prescribed antibiotics.
We got her the antibiotics, cleaned and cared for her over the weekend, expecting a quick recovery. Unfortunately she wasn’t eating and seemed very weak. On Monday, a vet visit revealed she has severe pneumonia. The good news is she has a good chance of recovery with intensive hospital care (she needs an oxygen chamber)! However, the treatment all-in costs about $10,000.
We have already covered one night of her hospital stay, and are covering tonight, and another family has generously donated $500 to help us.
Our Situation
I am an elementary school teacher, and we simply cannot afford the remaining necessary medical care on our own. I've never done a GoFundMe before, but we're lost in what to do about the situation and just desperate to save this sweet dog who's bringing so much joy into our and our daughter's lives.
How You Can Help
We are reaching out to our community for support to raise $10,000 to cover the costs of her hospital care. I listed the full bill at the bottom. Every dollar brings us closer to giving her the chance to recover and live a happy, healthy life.
Please Consider Donating
No contribution is too small, and your generosity will make a significant difference in saving the sweetest dog ever seen. If you’re unable to donate, please share this campaign with others who might be able to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support and kindness.
