For emergency housing
Hello, my name's Vladimir, I'm 23 yo and I finally reached America. My journey or a "run" has started in September 24th 2022, when I successfully crossed the border from Russia to Mongolia in search of safety from my government that sends my people to war.
Then I traveled to Korea in hopes of being granted political asylum, unfortunately that country looks down upon non-koreans that seek to settle down there. They refused my asylum and kept me from exiting the Incheon airport into the city. For 4 long moths I have stayed there and haha, I'll tell you that this is not the nicest of experience.
Here's some of news articles about me in Airport :)
Korea Times:
Washington Post
And if you wish, you could just type Vladimir Maraktaev in Google search.
After March 1-st I was contacted by many people that wished to help me, Free Buryatua Foundation, individuals that I met there personally, kind souls that wanted to help me get out of there. And they succeeded. On May first I legally crossed the border between Mexico and USA and since then fate was not so kind to me.
If my story somehow makes you might consider helping me and if you will not suffer financial consequences, please donate, otherwise, thank you for your time and have a good one.
