Help Tucker See Again!
Donation protected
Hi friends, family, and those I don't personally know. My name is Liv, and thank you for taking the time to check out my page for Tucker!
About The Campaign:
Those of you that know Tuck know he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes shortly after I rescued him. I was told he would most likely get Cataracts later in life but no one expected that it would happen at only 4 years old. In the past year, Tuck's eyes have started to glaze, limiting his ability to see. I recently went in for a Cataract consult and he was diagnosed with Glaucoma in one of his eyes, which will cause him to lose sight completely in that eye. We are discussing treatment options with our vet for the glaucoma, and that eye might need to be surgically removed at a later date. Luckily we are still able to get Cataract surgery on his remaining eye. A diabetic dog requires more care and between his vet visits, tests, and daily insulin I am already at my financial limit and I don’t have the resources to cover his surgery. My little man is too young to live the rest of his life as a one eyed blind dog so any help with his Cataract surgery would be greatly appreciated!

About Tucker:
Tucker is a five-year-old Lab/Terrier (although his DNA test told us he was mostly Chihuahua and Beagle). He is such a sweet, gentle boy and is constantly smiling. He is my favorite little goofball and full of so much love. One of his most common nicknames is Lord Nibblets, as he loves to nibble, and his lip constantly gets stuck on his teeth.
The good news is that once he gets the surgery, his Cataracts won't return. With his Diabetes under control, he can live a long (almost) normal life.
Any small donation or sharing of this campaign would be so deeply appreciated!
