Renee Van Nett Family

6/4/22 UPDATE - It is with the heaviest of hearts we shared news yesterday that Renee Kathy Van Nett – our mother, sister, daughter, friend, second term City Councilor and past Council President, and Leech Lake Band member – passed away surrounded by family in Duluth this morning after a brief battle with cancer. She was 52.

Renee’s loved ones wish to say miigwech to the MNA nurses, especially Cassie, Essentia Health doctors and support staff, Attorney Ray Peterson, and many others who cared for her health and final wishes.

5/31/22 UPDATE - Thank you everyone for your generosity! Based on the early success of the campaign, we are bumping up our goal to $50,000 for Renee's family.  Renee is still with us tonight - please honor her by helping support Tiara and Nevada.

5/30/22 Renee Van Nett is currently in the hospital in Duluth, battling a terminal illness. Renee's courage and bravery have inspired many, and it's time to have her back after she'd had ours so often.

 

Renee's loved ones have set this fund up to raise money for her expenses and help her two loving daughters, Tiara and Nevada.
