After 4 years of fighting, Regina still has great determination to follow doctor recommendations and do all she can to keep the cancer at bay as long as possible.

This gofundme continues to support Regina by covering ongoing medical bills, time out of work, and travel costs to frequent appointments and necessary overnights in Boston.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting our friend over this time of consistent chronic illness and struggles. It was really encouraging to meet the initial fundraising goal. We have increased the fundraising goal as Regina & family can still benefit mightily from continued support. A set dollar amount is required for the page which prompts me to type in a somewhat arbitrary number. However, it is not easy to guess the open-ended costs involved when someone must both pay for intensive, on-going medical care and take care of her children. Rest assured that every donation great and small will be put to good use.

Origin Story:

Twelve days before Christmas 2020, Regina found a large tumor and was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma; stage 3 breast cancer. That spring, she faced 6 months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery and radiation. She needed to take time from work to travel to Concord, NH where her treatments were at that time, and to rest and recover as necessary.
