Update (2/12/2024) not all funds have come directly from the Gofundme link. We have reached 61-65% ($6100-$6500) of the original goal. Funds will remain in the account until a suitable plan can be established to assist the mentally ill sometime after my completion of nurse practitioner in mental health at Jefferson next spring. Through Jefferson and my networking I hope to establish something that I had envisioned prior to Christian’s passing. Thank you all for your support… more to come….
Update (3/29/23) we have just over $3000 in the memorial trust thanks to the addition of cash and check donations from others. This Gofundme will remain open as we continue to consider options/ideas for ways to remember Christian by helping others in his memory. Thank you all
Christian lost his battle with mental illness on February 11, 2023. In his short 27 years on earth, he left an impression on all of the lives he touched. Christian's personality shined. He was a true light to those that loved him and is missed terribly. We would like to do something to remember him and keep his light alive. Therefore, a memorial trust fund at Citadel Credit Union has been created. We hope to either establish a scholarship for a high school senior that exemplifies similar qualities and interests as Christian did or find a way to support the mental health population in his name.
