The 5th annual peoples turkey drive

Hello, my name is Juan Fernandez,  I was born and raised in East Chicago, IN.  While growing up, my grandmother Mary Magdalena Rodriguez, taught me the value in truly giving thanks during this holiday season. It was her favorite holiday, she would volunteer her time at the Clemente food banks for Thanksgiving. I decided 4 years ago, in honor of my grandmother, that I would give back to my community just as she did. I started the People's Turkey Drive, to help families in our surrounding areas have a turkey dinner for the holiday season.  This is my 5th year  and with the help of my family and friends the People's Turkey drive has expanded. Unfortunately, the demand to help families is greater then it was 5 years ago. The Peoples Turkey Drive provides each family with the following items: Turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, gravy packet, 2 cans of corn,2 cans of green beans, Mac and cheese, jiffy cornbread, cranberry sauce and a roasting pan. I encourage you to join us in our efforts to help make a difference this holiday season. Any donation is never to small and grealty appreciated. Help make this great experience an even greater reward to deserving families in our communities.
