Help Cathy Get Back on her Feet

Cathy Rose's inspiring sense of adventure has led her to a mandatory slow down and, unfortunately, mounting medical expenses. On Saturday September 2, she not only had her second paragliding lesson, but an unexpected medevac helicopter ride all the way from Cosmos to Minneapolis, MN.

Cathy fell from about 20', broke her femur in 2 places and fractured her spine. She spent 12 days at Hennepin County Medical Center, underwent surgery and is now in ongoing rehab physical therapy. Although insured, only a fraction of her mandatory helicopter ride is covered. That, coupled with an extended period of missed work as she heals, puts her in an extremely tough financial situation. These funds will go to pay for the helicopter ride that falls outside of her insurance coverage.
