Alex’s medical journey
Donation protected
Update (7/28/23): We wanted to thank everyone who has been supporting Alex and Ashley these last few weeks through sharing his story and with your prayers and donations. It has been a rough road with lots of ups and downs both physically and emotionally for them. Unfortunately, Alex’s father passed away this past Monday, the 24th. This has added to the emotional battle Alex has been facing. He is making great progress physically and is expected to be released from in patient care tomorrow. Please keep the prayers coming! They are felt and appreciated!
Update (7/18/23): Alex came through the surgery yesterday as planned. He started having pain after the block ran out, but he is still in good spirits. He will be coming home soon. The stitches are going to be removed in about three weeks and then they will allow time for his leg to heal before fitting for a prosthetic. Thank you for your continued support!
It has been 11 months since Alex was in a motorcycle accident. His journey has been rough, but we are still so thankful he is here to make that journey. He has worked hard to recover. Last week he had another surgery to try a procedure to give him more mobility. Unfortunately, this was not successful because they found his bone was infected. He had to make the tough decision to have his leg amputated. This procedure is to be completed next week. He will need to be fitted for a prosthetic after his stump is fully healed. They have not been able to fully recover from previous medical bills so the expenses that will be coming will be difficult for them. They have appreciated the love and support from everyone over these past few months. Sharing this GoFund Me, praying, or donations will be very helpful at this time. God is so good and has placed so many loving people in all of our lives. Thanks again for your love and support!
