We, Yasser's parents, are sharing our story with the world, so we can help our son Yasser 1 year old, who was born at the beginning of the war, here on the Gaza side, Palestine!

Our story

Before the birth of Yasser, we were so excited, waiting for your first child. It's a nice moment everyone wishes to live.

But this joy was not complete, as with the beginning of the October events here in Gaza and forcing us to move from the north of Gaza to the south, life became difficult for me and my pregnant wife Ghada in terms of moving, displacement, and the difficulty of obtaining the simplest needs of a pregnant woman.

Yasser was born on October 23, 2023. He was born with something called a colostomy (he was born without a butt hole).

When the doctor told us this, we were heartbroken. We all want our children to be completely healthy.

Our hard life and suffering in this war was not enough after we lost our home, the job we work in and now we are left without a source of income. We are being tested in our children and their health. Alhamdullah (Thank God!). This is a blessing from you and we accept it!

We live in a tent, and we need all the healthy conditions for my child's life. Good food, healthy drink and medicine most of the time.

Urgent appeal:

We are facing an emergency. Our little boy needs urgent surgery to correct a serious birth defect. His large intestine was outside of his body at birth, and while he has had surgery before, he needs another life-saving procedure, and we are struggling to cover the costs.

The cost of surgery abroad is 5000 euros.

As the travel costs for evacuation to Egypt exceed 5,000 euros per person, in addition to other living costs for a temporary period in Egypt.

Time is running out, and we are reaching out for help. This surgery is critical for his survival, and we simply can’t do it without your support.
