Father With 2 Rare Diseases Needs Our Help

Gabriel Whitehouse is a husband, father of two fierce daughters - one of whom is special needs - two perseverant sons, and a man in dire need of support from his community. After years of unexplained physical challenges such as tooth decay, increased high blood pressure, uncontrollable mood swings, and more, he was finally given multiple diagnoses: Acromegaly (the overproduction of the growth hormone by the pituitary gland in the brain, causing overgrowth of hands, feet, nose, and chin) and a Pituitary Growth Hormone Tumor (developed due to the overproduction of the growth hormone) that has begun to grow over Gabriel’s carotid artery.

Gabriel is a hard-working and caring soul; previously working at least fifty-five hours a week so that he could come home to love and spend time with his family - his world. However, those hours have been drastically reduced due to physical ailments and so many doctor’s appointments. Between hour reductions and appointments, medical bills are overwhelmingly stacking up so much so that at this rate he may not be able to do the surgery. Gabriel has spent hours searching for any other resources that might help him beat these disorders while still providing for his family. So as a last resort, we are asking our community, our friends, and anyone else with a little bit of extra kindness, to help Gabriel be able to support his family, get the surgery, and pay the medical bills during this difficult and scary time.
