Steve Walsh Cancer Fighting Fundraiser

A few weeks ago we received the heartbreaking news that our dear friend Steve Walsh was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. At the time of the diagnosis, Steve was on tour as our beloved monitor engineer for Tool. This came as a devastating blow to his family, friends, and the entire touring community. Despite the shitty hand Steve has been dealt, we remain positive in his road to recovery.

Most of you know Steve from the touring world. He’s the first man to lend an extra hand, with a smile on his face! His calm demeanor and professional attitude makes him loved by all of the wonderful bands he worked with over the years. However, we are not his only family.

With the support of his wife Chelsea, children Miles and Charlie, and loving sister Amanda, he is in good hands. As we all know, diagnoses like this will be an uphill battle. He is facing 6-12 months of aggressive, chemo, radiation, and corrective surgery. With your generosity, we can make this journey a little easier on Steve. This money can help pay for meals, travel expenses while he receives treatment at Sloan Kettering in New York, and lighten the load for the entire Walsh Family.

Now you all know as well as we do, that when one of our own takes a fall, we pull together to get them back on their feet. There is no one we would rather see behind the monitor desk than Steve.
