Having a child with a disability should never be a reson why a family is unable to attend church. Yet, a sad reality is that many churches are not equipped to meet the needs of children with special needs. At Orchard View, we make it a priority to reach out to families impacted by disability. We understand the need, and we want church to be an enjoyable, safe, and comforting place for the entire family.
We are in the process of transforming two of our rooms into sensory rooms! Sensory issues are diverse, and while some kids need extra stimulation, some kids need dim lights, quiet play, and soft, soothing sounds.
We need your help! Your contribution will help make Orchard View Alliance the place to be for families impacted by disability. A place where we embrace people and kids with disabilities out of a genuine understanding, acceptance, and celebration of their life.
