Help Mohamed to Escape Gaza Crisis

Hello, I am Mohammed, a university student, my family consists of 23 people, we now live in northern Gaza. We have been displaced repeatedly from one area to another in the hope of finding a safe place, but to no avail.

The danger is very close to us. Including fear, terror, anxiety, stress, bombing, destruction, hunger and thirst. We have lost hope in life! We have been through very difficult conditions: no clean water, no electricity, no food. There were days when we had nothing to eat, and we had to eat animal feed! We no longer knew what we would die of: whether we would die from bombing, hunger or diseases related to pollution. Our dreams were shattered. Not only were our homes no longer habitable, but our entire area! It was as if an earthquake had struck us. Our homes, our streets and all the beautiful memories they held disappeared and nothing remained.

The electricity and water were cut off. We could live without electricity, but we could not live without water. We and our brothers had to go to fetch water from far away, which was very difficult and time-consuming.

We were really risking ourselves. We were moving under bullets and shells to get a bag of flour. We carried it on our shoulders and walked long distances. We also suffered many injuries during those times.

What hurt us the most in this war was our fear for our families and our little brothers, we were really afraid that something bad might happen to them, and we are still afraid for them now. The children did not know anything and did not understand anything, but they were afraid of the sounds of explosions.

There are no words or pictures that can convey the extent of the suffering we went through and are still going through. The truth is that we want nothing but to live a decent and happy life with our families.

Note that we never asked for help from anyone before, but that changed because of the curse of war and our fear for our families. We ask God to be well until we leave Gaza, amidst the constant threat of bombing, hunger and disease.
