Butters Eye Surgery

I had been holding off for so long on asking for help, but Butters and I need your help..

He has just had his corneal sequestrum surgery on October 12th which has just not gone to plan and has resulted in return trips to the vet, more medication and unfortunately Butters has been the one suffering which kills me. He has an ulcer on the same eye as the graft which we are trying to get under control to avoid more surgery on that eye. Waking up today, I have found another sequestrum on his other eye, which has already had a sequestrum removed when he was 1.

I have been in tears and am just absolutely devastated. Butters has been such a trooper so far but I know he is struggling. With the travel to Melbourne for the surgery, the costs of travel and hotels was over $2,000 and vet bills are so far up to $4,700 with more to come and potentially no2 surgery on both eyes :(

I've had to put my own surgery needed aside because his well being is more important than mine at the moment.

I like to feel that I have everything under control and I can do it all myself, but I can't, and with the debt I'm in, I'm reaching out for help.
