Mike Davis

Sunday was a normal day until that one step was taken... suddenly Mike fell to the ground with no movement or feeling throughout his whole body. He was taken to Floyd ER by ambulance where tests were done to determine that he had Central Cord Syndrome. He has a previous neck injury from years ago that had progressed and was now putting pressure on his spinal cord essentially paralyzing him. He has been in ICU and had surgery on Tuesday 9/18 to remove that pressure to restore feeling and motion. He will be in ICU for a few more days and hopefully he will be able to go to a regular room for extensive therapy. It is unknown how much motion he will recover or how long this will take. It is going to be hard, painful and emotional. Mike and Lisa need as much help as we can give them. Help remove that stress of medical bills, further health care, time off work, etc.. They have done so much for others now it’s our turn to help them!!
