Up and coming medical bills

This is my family, I'm on the left (Rafael Jr) my parents Rafael Sr, Hilda my brother Rodney and my sister Jennifer. This picture was taken 2yrs ago at my niece's Sweet Sixteen, also the time he just found out that he was having problems breathing. At the time, doctors weren't sure what he had. Shortly after that, is when my brother started getting ill. Got sick with the flu, his lungs filled up with fluid and was hospitalized for a few days. They found out later what he had, it was called "SARCOIDOSIS". Doctors today still don't have a real clue on how someone can get this disease, especially if there not a cigarette smoker.

Today my brother is waiting on a double transplant. For those that knew him, he's always had a fast metabolism. Rodney is below his average weight, my father is by his side watching over him while my mother works a part time job. My parents currently live in Dunnellon Florida. When the day comes, and my brother gets the call.... My parents have to stop everything and run him to the hospital which is 90 mins away. After the operation, the road to recovery is going to take over 4 months. For the months that my brother is in recovery, my parents will be staying with him in a special place that’s equipped with 2 rooms. He has to be cared for 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.  He's not going to be able to have visitors for the first few months because of airborne infections.

Rodney takes over 15 pills a day, after the operation he will be up to 25 pills a day for the rest of his life. Before heading back home, my parents have to get an Air Filtration System put in the house and have someone come in to do the daily maintaince. My brother's insurance is only going to cover so much, anything else is out of pocket. This is where I need your help. My brother will never be the same. My brother has a daughter 27 (Zhynade), and a granddaughter (Zoey) that turned 1. They say that anyone that gets a double lung transplant life span is only 10-15 years. I looked on line to see what the National Lung Transplant Life Expectancy Statistics are, and I didn't like their answer.  It's in God's hand; He is the only one that has his life written in His book.

If you want to know more about Sarcoidosis, here is a link I found that might help you understand more about it.
