Broken Jaw Surgery
Donation protected
I found this cat on July 29 curled up in the rain. He had appeared to have been hit by a car or attacked. He was missing his left eye and struggling to breathe. I took him to a local Veterinary Clinic and was told he had a broken jaw and that he was also completely blind in his right eye, likely due to the trauma. As far as I know the cat does not have an owner, no collar or microchip. He is currently hooked up to IV fluids and has received an antibiotic injection and some pain management. However he is still going to need radiographs to check for internal bleeding and to ensure his bladder is not ruptured along with surgery to fix his broken jaw.
