Farewell to Kevin- USAF Vet & Dive Instructor

This donation platform is for Kevin Emerich who was an employee and good family friend of Adventure Outfitters; our dive shop in Tampa. After 20 years of service, Kevin retired (2022) as a Network Engineer from the United States Air Force. He is a Veteran who has always loved the water and teaching others about his passion for SCUBA diving and spearfishing. Unfortunately and very suddenly, Kevin received news that he now has a VERY big battle to fight... the fight for his life.

Kevin has stage 4 pancreatic cancer

that has already spread to his liver. This is obviously very unsettling and very sudden news for him and his wife and a very difficult time for them.

Several financial strains will be put on Kevin and his wife Katrina for the unforeseeable future. Kevin is no longer able to work at the dive shop and as a scuba diving instructor. Multiple, ongoing treatments with uncertain outcomes at Moffitt Cancer Hospital is now their new reality.

We are looking to help Kevin and Katrina with some expenses so they can focus on getting through each step. As you can imagine, there is a lot going on right now so I am trying to make it a little easier on them.
