Kilo’s Emergency Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Juan and my wife’s name is Valentina. We have had this beautiful Great Pyrenees since he was 8 weeks old and is 3 months 1/2 now. Kilo has been part of our family ever since the moment I picked him up for the first time. He's the best dog we've ever had the pleasure of caring for and calling our own. Until recently, he's been a very healthy boy! Unfortunately, recently Kilo had an accident and was un-able to walk properly, we took him to the vet for some X-rays and it was discovered he has a fracture on his left and right femur. Now our pup is un-able to even walk or stand up.. we have to physically carry him and help him stand up just for him to do his business outside. It breaks our hearts to see him like this.. just laying there un-able to move or do anything for himself. Hes so young and we want to see him running, playing, jumping, biting and being that energetic puppy he was. To see him grow big and strong. is more than a dog, he cannot be replaced. He is our family, and we love him as much as we love each other. We would not usually do this as a family, but desperate times call for desperate measures. And we are desperate. We were told to expect around the $8,000 range for surgery; the goal depicts that and some travel expenses as we will need to take him to Wilmington, NC and back for said surgery. Please help Kilo get back on his feet, thank you for taking the time to check out our story.
