Project Community Etiquette
We believe in the power of community - without community we have nothing. By coming together, we can create an immense impact and change the lives of many.
Our first mission? To operate a food bank & soup kitchen to bring 50-100 nutritious meals a day to NYC's low income & homeless community. The importance of having access to nutritious food not only provides a meal on the table when there may be not be one but it is also the building block to health, vitality and overall well-being.
Our initial 10k goal will not only allow us to establish a food program that will produce approximately 2,000+ meals for the residents of Marcy Housing Projects but to also commit to the continued development of ongoing programming around the issues of social inequality as we build out our offerings to feed more of our neighboring communities. This will establish the foundation to help build equity in our community, improve quality of life and work towards challenging racial divisions + institutional biases.
