Assistance for Gary Fort's Children

Dear Friends,
This last week, Gary Fort, a lifetime friend of our family, passed away from a tragic car accident as he and his daughter were returning home from time spent together in Arizona, visiting where they once lived. Gary's teenage daughter, Jessica, survived the accident but unfortunately Gary was not so blessed.
Gary was an incredibly kind, warm hearted man whose only true love in life was his two children.
Gary was given sole custody of Jessica and Joseph soon after his divorce from their mother several years ago. Supporting both children and his elderly mother, Gary spent many hours working to give his family the best he possibly could. A devoted father, this man sacrificed everything of himself for his children and for his mother.
Earlier this year, Jessica and Joseph suffered the unexpected loss of their mother.  Their mother's death affected these children terribly. Now, with the loss of their father, the future lives of these children are left in the hands of friends who loved their father as family.
Jessica and Joseph continue to live with their grandmother, whom has no means of income and will struggle in keeping the family together without the finances.
My goal, through your help and with the help of gofundme, is to hopefully raise enough money to support the Fort Family with months of rent, food, and medical needs. We are hoping that the funds can also be applied for counseling and continued education for both Jessica and Joseph.
Your generousity and kindness will be so gratefully appreciated by these children who have lost so much in their young lives. They need to know that there still is good in this world, despite the hardships placed on them at such an early age.
