Jessica & Shaun Adoption Fund

November is National Adoption Awareness Month.  Maybe by coincidence but It's also the month, 2015, that Jessica and Shaun began their journey to adopt a child.  On Monday November 2 Jessica had her latest appointment with her reproductive endocrinologist.  After 7 miscarriages and no diagnosis or answers of why she can get pregnant but cannot carry a healthy term baby, Jessica and Shaun were hoping and praying for answers.  Unfortunately, the doctor said we were looking for answers that he did not have.  It was then and there that Jessica and Shaun stopped looking for answers from the doctor and commited to God's plan.  It was then and there that they knew they would stop all treatment and pursue adoption. It was then and there that "the plan" had never been any more clearer. 

The love they have to give a child is deep and real.  Although, Jessica will not give the gift of life to their baby they anxiously await, Jessica and Shaun are anxiously awaiting the baby that will be their gift of life.
Jessica and Shaun do not consider adoption as a "plan B".  Everyone has a story and God's timing and plan is always perfect.  God knew all along the direction where their lives and marriage would  head them to and they both are beyond excited for this journey.  They do not feel as though they were robbed of the joy of a biologcal child but rather they have the opportunity to love and provide for the   child--the one that God intended for them have.

If you know Jessica, Shaun and Kara personally, you know the crazy love they have to give a child.  You know the pain they have endured trying to grow their family. 
They strongly believe growing a family takes much more than a mommy and daddy--sometimes its takes a village.  Jessica and Shaun have a huge family and friend support and this baby we pray for, will no doubt, be showered with love!

So, trying to be as brief as possible, it is now that we ask and pray for your help.

3) We plan on having some local fundraisers, garage sales, etc.  with all profits going to the adoption fund.  If you have any items you would like to donate to the garage sale please contact Jessica Gray, Rose Taylor or Stacy Rhodes.  Stay tuned for all news on fundraisers;
4) ENCOURAGEMENT.  Adoption can be an emotional rollercoaster and all encouragement along the way is appreciated; and
5) PRAYER.  Above all else please pray for Jessica, Shaun and their family during this journey.  Please know that we already love this baby.  Even though, we don't know him or her yet.  As people pray for the baby in their belly, we pray for this baby--that all will go well and he or she will make it to Jessica & Shaun's home with as little difficulty as possible.  And, although, we do not know her yet we are praying for the birth mother and pray that she will be lead through love and God's plan.

Please know that WE, Jessica, Shaun, Kara, and their family are so thankful for your love and support in the past and most importantly as they enter into this new incredible journey.  We truly are blessed and do not take that for granted.
